Why the Danish business community supports free trade

It’s getting crowded out there in the free trading world. The hunt for new global partners is redefining the traditional rules of engagement between nations. It’s open season on anything that moves between borders — not only products, investments and intellectual property, but also new rules on competition, and the inclusion of labor laws and environmental guidelines.

Participants at this joint event with Danish-American Business Forum (DABF) and Danish-Chinese Business Forum (DCBF) learned more about the trends in free trade and the integration of economies. Specifically, the event focused on the several trade agreements in negotiations between the US, EU and China and what implications and opportunities these might bring for Danish businesses.
