Visa Requirements for US Business Travels

Date: 31 Jan 2017, 15:00 - 17:00

Host: DI – Confederation of Danish Industry, H.C. Andersens Boulevard 18, 1553 København V

Get to know your way around the complex US visa system

The US economy is the largest economy in the world and a growing market for Danish companies. The US is Denmark’s third largest export market and largest trade partner outside the EU. This has made the US an incredibly popular destination for Danish businesses. At the same time, however, the US visa system can be very complicated, and it can be difficult to know which visa class to choose.

In cooperation with US Embassy Copenhagen, DI hosted this briefing focused on what you need to know when traveling to the US for business. Dina Grates, Non Immigrant Visa Assistant, and Iain Crawford, Vice Consul,  provided an overview of the different visa class requirements for various travel situations. The briefing also included an update on the Visa Waiver Program and a status update on the Global Entry Program.
